Mario Dimovski - Program Director
Mario started his career as a 16 year-old Automotive Plastic Repair Trainee in the collision industry and over the past three decades he has worked his way to the top of the industry, recognized as an expert & pioneer in automotive plastics repairs, sustainability, and digital transformation. He is a business owner, inventor and mentor named by IBIS as one of the industry’s leading lights due to his groundbreaking work in talent development and advanced technology collaborating with industry, government, and community groups. Currently the Director of Sustainability at the Boyd Group, and Program Director at the STA, he brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the program passing on his knowledge to the current and future workforce.
Sam Miller - Director – Training & Products
Sam Miller has been with Gerber Collision and Glass for over 20yrs. He started out as an apprentice technician throughout his career he has taken on many rolls from a journeyman technician, production manager, general manager, Director of training for the apprenticeship program and most recently a technical trainer. He is an I-Car Platinum pro level 3 and a welding/HOSD instructor along with ASE Master Tech in Collision Repair and Refinish. Sam is a visionary when it comes to innovation and understands the advantage of having the right tools and access to digital information. His passion and success in mentoring the new generation of technicians is one of the many key reasons Sam drives this critical aspect of the Smart academy.
